Activity checks are always conducted by an investigator in the field and never by telephone. Our activity checks can answer a myriad of questions including residency, marital status, employment and physical limitations. In addition, we can ascertain an individual's regular activities and habits including daily schedules, hobbies and interests. Information is gathered from neighbors as well as government employees, law enforcement and other sources in the community. Information gathered is often used to determine if surveillance is warranted.
An activity check is typically completed within four hours. It may take more time when a full courthouse search is conducted to determine property ownership, liens, judgments, civil or criminal records or marital status.
